The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority has released its 2026–2030 organisational strategy, setting out the national laboratory's role to deliver foundational research, technology and innovation in support of the UK fusion sector. UKAEA subsidiary UK Fusion Energy Ltd has also released its latest strategy, setting out how the UK will deliver its prototype fusion power plant, STEP Fusion.
