The South African Nuclear Energy Corporation and Russia's TVEL have signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in the manufacture of nuclear fuel and its components.

Two more countries - Zimbabwe and Ethiopia - have signed agreements with Russia to cooperate on the peaceful use of nuclear technology on the sidelines of the Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum, which has been taking place in St Petersburg.

The Republic of Burundi and Russia have signed a memorandum of cooperation on peaceful uses of nuclear technology. It was signed as the Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum takes place in St Petersburg.

Among the agreements signed during a Polish-Korean business forum on 14 July was a memorandum of understanding between Poland's KGHM Polska Miedź SA and South Korea's Samsung C&T Corporation on the implementation of low and zero-emission technologies, including small modular reactors. A number of nuclear energy-related agreements were among the 33 memorandums of understanding signed between South Korean and Polish companies during the Korea-Poland Business Forum in Warsaw.

The energy ministers of Ukraine and Bulgaria have signed a memorandum of understanding to "deepen cooperation" in the energy sector, including "participation in joint projects and initiatives involving joint activities in the field of nuclear energy".

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power and SN Nuclearelectrica have signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in nuclear fuel as part of their strategies to "further develop fuel processing and ensure the resilience of fuel production capabilities".
