Nuclear bilateral for Argentina and UAE
Ministers from Argentina and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have signed a memorandum of understanding on peaceful uses of nuclear energy during an official visit to Abu Dhabi by Argentinian president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner.

Argentine reactor moves into commissioning
Initial hot testing of the Atucha 2 nuclear power reactor in Argentina has successfully been completed. The 745 MWe pressurized heavy-water reactorÌýis expected to begin generating electricity in June.
